Lucretia Douthet

LUCRETIA E. DOUTHET is an original member of The NGOMA Group, which was formed in December of 1997.  She is an artist, singer, educator, and lover of poetry.  Lucretia comes from a musical family and found a love for singing in her early years.  She has been a part of many choirs throughout the Chicago land area and at one time joined a group of musicians, lead by Ann Ward.  This group signed on for a concert series at the University of Chicago’s jazz festival where they performed to rave reviews.
